Wreck-It Ralph is the villain of the arcade video game Fix-It Felix Jr., in which the game's titular hero fixes a building that Ralph destroys. For over 30 years, Ralph has been doing the same job and has become tired of being the bad guy. Wanting to prove he can be a good guy and not just a villain, Ralph escapes his game through the power cord and lands in Hero's Duty, a light-gun shooter, where he helps the game's hero, Sergeant Calhoun, battle against "Cy-Bugs", the game's alien invaders. He later enters Sugar Rush, a kart racing game set on tracks made of candies, cookies, and other sweets. There, Ralph meets Vanellope von Schweetz, one of the game's characters, who has learned that her game is faced with a dire threat that could affect the entire arcade, and one that Ralph may have inadvertently started.

The only issue I have is it only looks like he enters two different games. Heroes Duty and Sugar Rush. I would hope he explores more then that. But it's def something different for once.

I think I speak for a fair amount of us here when I say: We don't care, Get that through yours!
Besides the fact that this film is celebrating things that you'd have to be in your 30s and 40s to get all nostalgic over, anyway.

@BossWalsh

No, it wouldn't say it is 100% for kids. Just LOOK at the characters. They're clearly also trying to play nostalgia for people who were gamers in the late 80s-90s.

Toy Story 3 also played the double game of "for kids" and "for nostalgia". Except that didn't have shitty, unfunny dialogue.

If they don't put some Tron or Kingdom Hearts in there, somewhere, then somethings wrong, seen as though they are Disney products. Also, doesn't Disney own a piece of the Dungeons and Dragons cartoon? Because to get a bit of that in there would be an up on the awesomage.
And Marvel, anyone? Come on! Get the Avengers cast on the job!

I was hoping that they would have more iconic games as main characters like Sonic with Mario or Scorpion... but it's cool.

I think we'll all be surprised at the fun game references for all of us 70s-80s "kids". I'm guessing sequel, maybe after Incredibles II.

This looks cool...

I have a sit down arcade machine with 60 odd classic games so I can really relate to this movie...
