TOY STORY 4 TV Spot Unites "Old Friends And New Faces" For The Adventure Of A Lifetime

Last month, Disney premiered the trailer for Toy Story 4, finally giving us context for Woody and company's next big adventure. A newly released TV spot for the movie shows off a bit more of the hijinks.

In addition to Bo Peep's return, Toy Story 4 will introduce us to a couple of newcomers in Bunny and Ducky, a couple of carnival game prizes, voiced by Jordan Peel and Keegan-Michael Key respectively. The TV spot teases a hilarious bit in which the two are shown just how fragile life is as a stuffed toy. Animals have always posed a threat to the toys, but this new cat looks like quite the menace.

We've only seen brief snippets of Bunny and Ducky thus far, but it seems like this hilarious duo will make a fine addition to the franchise. Check out the latest TV spot and a new poster for Toy Story 4.

Woody has always been confident about his place in the world and that his priority is taking care of his kid, whether that’s Andy or Bonnie. But when Bonnie adds a reluctant new toy called “Forky” to her room, a road trip adventure alongside old and new friends will show Woody how big the world can be for a toy.

Earlier this year, Bo Peep voice actress Annie Potts briefly talked about her character's return in the upcoming movie and how she has changed since we last saw her in Toy Story 2. Based on her appearance alone - ditching the signature dress in favor of a more practical outfit - it seems Bo Peep has become much more adventurous over the past few years on the road. Check out the Bo Peep teaser here.

Toy Story 4 is directed by Josh Cooley. It arrives in theaters on June 21.

I like a lot of the Pixar flicks (especially Wall-e!), but I never got the appeal of Toy Story, or why this has become a franchise, other than the obvious $$$. You'd figure by the 4th one, they'd be straight to dvd by now?

@Feralwookiee - Depends on whether or not you have a deep connection to toys. In this era, a lot of people had ipads, cell phones, & video games instead of toys so it may be hard to relate.

Toy Story 1 was good but hasn't aged well. Toy Story 2 is the best 1 and probably 1 of the best sequel to a film. 3 was just a rehash of 2 & nostalgia trip for the people who grew up with it but it has such a perfect ending for a franchise. 4 is unnecessary cash crab, so I'm not as hyped.

@Feralwookiee - well let’s see...they’re toys, some of which exist in real life, that come to life when people aren’t looking. Add the fact that the animation is brilliant and the characters themselves became hugely popular coupled with nostalgia by parents and young adults hat grew up with the first movie and there you have it. It’s not really that hard to comprehend.

@Feralwookiee - jesus...u really are a feral wookie...the stories are pretty compelling and they have some big name actors who have made them iconic in some regards. The stories are good and have worked for cinema and kids and adults love them.

Off topic, but there's a new Godzilla poster and apparently there's going to be some sort of promotion for the movie with this Sunday's Game of Thrones...

I love this franchise and I want to be excited for this, but I just can't.

Love Toy Story, but nothing about this has gotten me excited thus far, and honestly, I can't help but feel they just should have left this franchise alone.
