With Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness set to be released digitally on on June 22 and physically on 4K, Blu-ray, and DVD on July 26, the first pair of deleted scenes have found their way online.
The first, "A Great Team," is actually a flashback to Steven Strange (Benedict Cumberbatch) and Christine Palmer (Rachel McAdams) taking part in an interview to speak about a revolutionary surgical technique they worked on together before Strange's accident. This once again highlights the good doctor's arrogance, but it's really not hard to see why it was ultimately cut.
At least this is a deleted scene, unlike this second clip!
"It's not Permanent" is literally the Pizza Poppa sequence from the theatrical cut with one small dialogue change right at the end. Those hoping for more Illuminati footage or a hint of some of those rumored cameos are sure to be disappointed, but we know that there are other deleted scenes on the Blu-ray.
