DOCTOR STRANGE IN THE MULTIVERSE OF MADNESS "A Great Team" & "It's Not Permanent" Deleted Scenes Released

A pair of deleted scenes (well, one of them is extended... and just barely) from the Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness Blu-ray have been shared online. Take a look...

With Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness set to be released digitally on on June 22 and physically on 4K, Blu-ray, and DVD on July 26, the first pair of deleted scenes have found their way online.

The first, "A Great Team," is actually a flashback to Steven Strange (Benedict Cumberbatch) and Christine Palmer (Rachel McAdams) taking part in an interview to speak about a revolutionary surgical technique they worked on together before Strange's accident. This once again highlights the good doctor's arrogance, but it's really not hard to see why it was ultimately cut.

At least this is a deleted scene, unlike this second clip!

"It's not Permanent" is literally the Pizza Poppa sequence from the theatrical cut with one small dialogue change right at the end. Those hoping for more Illuminati footage or a hint of some of those rumored cameos are sure to be disappointed, but we know that there are other deleted scenes on the Blu-ray.

In Marvel Studios’ Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, the MCU unlocks the Multiverse and pushes its boundaries further than ever before. Journey into the unknown with Doctor Strange, who, with the help of mystical allies both old and new, traverses the mind-bending and dangerous alternate realities of the Multiverse to confront a mysterious new adversary.

Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness stars Benedict Cumberbatch, Chiwetel Ejiofor, Elizabeth Olsen, Benedict Wong, Xochitl Gomez, with Michael Stühlbarg, and Rachel McAdams. The film is directed by Sam Raimi, and Kevin Feige is the producer. Louis D’Esposito, Victoria Alonso, Eric Hauserman Carroll and Jamie Christopher serve as executive producers. The screenplay was written by Michael Waldron.

The Doctor Strange sequel is now in theaters, and is set to hit Disney+ on June 22.

@BO31 - I wish I felt the same. Was hyped for this and was kinda let down.

The best part of this movie were the big cameos. The second half was kind of a let down. The stakes weren't interesting either. Cameos kind of overshadowed Strange in his own movie.

I hated the fight scene with musical notes, might be in the minority but it was a lame idea.

Also not much multiverse in it. Should've had the climatic battle be Scarlet Witch chasing Chavez through weird universes (opens via her fear reflex) and Strange chases after them and battle ensues in each multiverse.

I just think the movie lacked interesting ideas and set-pieces, or maybe I expected too much.

@EgoEgor - your comment was to stupid and flat to even attempt a reply.

First thing came to mind after reading was Amber Heard. Empty horse shit ranting.

You guys are going to have to find a way to deal with Marvel's success in more mentally healthy way.

@BO31 - What's with the hostility man? You loved it and I didn't. We're both allowed to feel differently about the film.

Am I being trolled? Was this a trap? lol.

@Unconforming - It's funny. Because I have witnessed every user here. Every. Single. Damn. User. Talk about movies, characters, plots, scenes, even actors they didn't like.... But if they liked it, and you don't. You're toxic. Beware!!! Also, don't let the content be a woman or minority. Then you're literally Hitler. I'm black and said I didn't like Black Panther all that much. I was called racist. Then when I said I'm black. I was called a liar. Then when all else failed... I heard that I'm internalizing racism.

All of that stupid shit because I didn't really like a damn movie. This site has become insufferable a lot of the time.

@Fogs - @BO31 - I often why those who don't like certain movies spend their time reading articles, comments, and then commenting on articles of those movies they don't like.

@BO31 - It's f#cking weird. I just "block" them. Their comments might be better if they directed them to DC / Warner Brothers, instead of here.

I loved all the different kind of magic we saw in this film. Seemed much more innovative than the magic in the first film.

@Godzilla2000Zer - I kind of agree that NWH doesn't pick up til that big "peter tingle" moment. And NWH makes a lot of illogical story decisions but they had a lot of scenes that carried emotional weight. I remember so much from NWH even 6 months later, while MoM, other than the big cameos, was kind of unmemorable. But that's just me.

Unless I got high, hallucinated chunks of the movie and then just forgot I did it, that second scene was in the movie, right?
