It looks like the spoiler window has officially lifted on Sam Raimi's Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, as Marvel Studios has released a new TV spot offering a HD look at Academy Award-winner Charlize Theron (F9; Mad Max: Fury Road) as Clea.
While Theron hasn't exactly been keeping quiet about joining the Marvel Cinematic Universe, sharing photos just hours after the movie arrived in theaters, this is the first time the studio has actually acknowledged the film's many surprise guest stars.
Along with the new look at Clea, the spots also feature Hayley Atwell as Captain Carter and Lashana Lynch as Captain Marvel. Curiously though, they're still seemingly holding back a more formal look at John Krasinski as Mister Fantastic, but we'd imagine that'll be coming in the not-so-distant future.
Multiverse of Madness continues to be a strong performer at the box office, inching closer and closer to the $850 million mark worldwide. While $900 million seems doable, reaching the coveted $1 billion milestone may prove to be easier said than done.
Check out the new spots below:
The film is headlined by Benedict Cumberbatch as the titular mystical hero, with an all-star supporting cast consisting of Elizabeth Olsen as the Scarlet Witch, Benedict Wong as Wong, Rachel McAdams as Christine Palmer, Chiwetel Ejiofor as Baron Mordo, and Xochitl Gomez as America Chavez.
