Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness arrived in May and became a big success for Marvel Studios and Disney, raking in $879 million globally, a little over $200 million more than 2016's Doctor Strange ($677 million).

Following Loki and Spider-Man: No Way Home, the film dove deeper into the Marvel Multiverse, with America Chavez (Xochitl Gomez) taking Stephen Strange (Benedict Cumberbatch) through a reality-hopping adventure in an effort to escape the Scarlet Witch (Elizabeth Olsen).

Now, audiences will be able to experience Doctor Strange's latest solo adventure at home, as Disney and Marvel Studios have announced that the film will arrive on Disney+ on June 22. The official Disney Twitter account posted a video for the reveal, with the film's stars announcing the streaming release date:

Multiverse of Madness' streaming release will come only one month and 16 days after its theatrical premiere, or, more specifically, 47 days (the film came out May 6). That's surprisingly close, especially when compared to previous Marvel Studios titles.

Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings, for example, came out on Disney+ on November 12, 70 days after its theatrical release. (September 3, 2021). Eternals (which released on November 5, 2021) similarly became available on Disney+ from January 12, 68 days after it came out in theaters.

Being a multiverse-focused adventure, Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness is sure to be filled with hard-to-catch Easter Eggs and references that could only be seen through multiple viewings and playback. Now, eagle-eyed fans will be able to comb through the film to spot anything the Sam Raimi-directed adventure may be hiding.

At one point in Multiverse of Madness, for example, America Chavez and Stephen Strange traveled through different dimensions, a sequence that probably holds more surprises than what's already been revealed
