Ms. Marvel remains Marvel Studios' highest-rated TV series on Rotten Tomatoes, and newcomer Iman Vellani looks set to have a very exciting few years ahead of her in the MCU.
This summer, she'll star alongside Brie Larson and Teyonah Parris in The Marvels, but the character is expected to remain a crucial part of The Multiverse Saga as Avengers: The Kang Dynasty and Avengers: Secret Wars draw near. it's no secret that the actress is a big Marvel fan, and she's now shared her thoughts on Eternals.
In contrast to Ms. Marvel, that's Marvel Studios' lowest-rated release, and their only "Rotten" movie.
Below, Vellani is asked to weigh in on Harry Styles joining the MCU as Eros/Starfox, and admitted to being conflicted about it. In fact, she even questions Marvel Studios' intentions!
"Ohhh, I feel so weird about it! I don’t know. It’s strange. I wonder, I really wonder if they’re gonna go ahead and do something with the character, or if they just teased it for the sake of it," the actress says. "Because I know Chloe Zhao is a big Harry Styles fan. But then you have all of the Harry Styles fandom in the MCU fandom, how chaotic would that be?"
There's been no sign of Styles' Eros since Eternals was released at the end of 2021, leaving many fans to also wonder whether he was there for the sake of it! Plans for all the characters introduced in the movie remain unclear, even amid rumblings Marvel Studios is plotting a sequel.
Perhaps there will be room for them in one of the upcoming Avengers movies? Either way, Vellani isn't wrong about the singer and actor's fandom making for a unique mixture when combined with MCU fans!
The Marvels is set to be released in theaters on July 28.
