Djimon Hounsou's Sir Bedivere Gets The Spotlight On The Latest Poster For KING ARTHUR: LEGEND OF THE SWORD

In Arthurian legend, Sir Bedivere is one of the most trusted members in Arthur's Round Table and is ultimately the one who returns Excalibur to the Lady of the Lake. Now, it's unlikely we'll see that scene come to pass in the upcoming Guy Ritchie-directed film as it's only expected to cover Arthur's origin, but we should still expect to see plenty of action featuring Bedivere, who is being played by Djimon Hounsou as he assists Arthur in taking back his kingdom.

Charlie Hunnam (Sons of Anarchy) stars in the title role as the born King with a supporting cast that features Astrid Bergès-Frisbey (Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides), Jude Law (Sherlock Holmes), Eric Bana (Hulk), Annabelle Wallis (The Mummy), Aidan Gillen (Game of Thrones), and Hermione Corfield (Mission: Impossible - Rogue Nation), amongst others.

Check out the new poster below:

Acclaimed filmmaker Guy Ritchie brings his dynamic style to the epic fantasy action adventure “King Arthur: Legend of the Sword.” Starring Charlie Hunnam in the title role, the film is an iconoclastic take on the classic Excalibur myth, tracing Arthur’s journey from the streets to the throne.

When the child Arthur’s father is murdered, Vortigern (Jude Law), Arthur’s uncle, seizes the crown. Robbed of his birthright and with no idea who he truly is, Arthur comes up the hard way in the back alleys of the city. But once he pulls the sword from the stone, his life is turned upside down and he is forced to acknowledge his true legacy…whether he likes it or not.

King Arthur: Legend Of The Sword features:
