GAME OF THRONES: Hodor Holds Back A Hungry Horde Of KFC Customers In Funny New Commercial

Hodor's sacrifice in Game of Thrones is one of the show's most memorable moments and actor Kristian Nairn recreates that here for a commercial which sees "Hold the Door!" replaced by "Chicken and Fries!"

It was in season six of Game of Thrones that we learned Hodor got his name because his destiny was to "Hold the Door!" and now actor Kristian Nairn has recreated that scene for a new KFC commercial.

Rather than being torn apart by ravenous zombies, Hodor is faced by a horde of hungry customers at lunchtime wanting their chicken and fries. As a result, the overwhelmed KFC employee ends up being to say only "Chicken and Fries!" until that's transformed into something else; "Chicken and Rice!" It's a fun ad which pays homage to Game of Thrones in a really enjoyable (and obviously inoffensive) way.

What do you guys think of this new Game of Thrones commercial? Are you going to miss Hodor when the show returns to HBO later this month? Let us know your thoughts on that in the comments section.

And that took almost a year before they turned one of the most emotionally disturbing scenes from GoT into a joke...Now this is all I'll think about when I rewatch it. Thanks hollywood
