CBM's very own Manny Camacho has been busy quizzing the cast of The Scorpion King 4: Quest For Power over the last few weeks (here are the links to his his interview with Victor Webster and his interview with Don "The Dragon" Wilson), so it should come as no surprise that the film will be available on Blu-ray, DVD and digital HD tomorrow (January 13th). What may surprise you is that we've partnered with Universal Studios Home Entertainment to put together a great video bundle for our users here at CBM that includes all four of the Scorpion King films! Did you miss Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson's big screen debut? Now you'll get to see it AND own it thanks to this giveaway!

Join an exciting new chapter in the action-packed adventures of the legendary warrior, The Scorpion King! When the king of Norvania is assassinated, the evil heir to the throne frames Mathayus and sends an entire kingdom of soldiers after him.  Mathayus’ (Victor Webster) only allies are a mysterious woman and her unconventional father, whose primitive science may hold the key to disrupting the evil ruler’s quest for an ancient and unstoppable mystical power. Featuring Lou Ferrigno (“The Hulk”) and an all-star cast of fighters, including Roy “Big Country” Nelson (Winner of “The Ultimate Fighter”), Royce Gracie (UFC Hall of Fame) and Don Wilson (11-time World Kickboxing Champion).   Also starring Ellen Holman (“Spartacus” TV series), Rutger Hauer (Batman Begins), Barry Bostwick (“Cougar Town” TV series), and Michael Biehn (The Terminator).

ComicBookMovie.com and Best Little Sites was the brainchild of Nate and a friend way back in 2002. Nate initially focused on the back-end programming and front-end design, but now manages the company and its associated sites as well, with a LOT of help from some very talented contributors.

Nate has loved comics from a very young age and continues to read them on a regular basis thanks to subscriptions to various titles (both Marvel and DC). He also loves movies, as his wife and children will attest. He's not overly critical of movies, so his reviews should be taken with a grain of salt as he's much more interested in being entertained and escaping the "real" world for a couple of hours than finding every conceivable plot-hole and character flaw in a film.

Outside of his guilty "nerdy" pleasures, Nate enjoys spending time with his wife and three boys, CrossFit, playing guitar, coaching youth sports and MMA (he spent a couple of years in the cage as an NHB fighter, but is now MUCH too old).

The first movie wasn't even that great. It was watchable, at best. And I've never come across anything that resembles a cult following for this series. How they managed to produce 3 straight to DVD sequels is beyond me. But I guess I shouldn't judge considering I haven't seen the 3 sequels. Maybe they have that B-movie greatness that so few of these large scale action films ever achieve.

That looks .... SO bad. It's sad. But I'll watch it on Netflix when its out. You know. Something in the background while I'm working at home for the day or something. Complete background filler, that you glance up at every now and then for a chuckle.

The original Scorpion King w/ the Rock was a fun sword & sandals popcorn movie. The sequel was god-awful garbage with cheap effects, horrendous acting. I never bothered with the 3rd and won't with the 4th.

The Scorpion King 4 is the 2nd sequel to a prequel to a spin-off from a sequel to a remake
