Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them ultimately proved to be just clever subterfuge from J.K. Rowling as the real beast was, in fact, the one-and-only Gellert Grindelwald (Johnny Depp), who had been hiding in plain sight after having transfigured into Percival Graves (Colin Farrell). While the first film did end with his capture, we already know the sequel will see him make a daring escape from captivity early in the runtime, which will formally set the events of Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald in motion as Albus Dumbledore (Jude Law) sends Newt Scamander (Eddie Redmayne) on a mission to find him once again.
As we count down the days to the highly-anticipated film, Warner Bros. has released over one-hundred ultra hi-resolution stills from the David Yates-directed sequel. To make them all easier to view, we'll be sharing them in six batches of twenty, so be sure to check out the fourth batch today and keep visiting CBM all week for even more enchanting new photos.

At the end of the first film, the powerful dark wizard Gellert Grindelwald was captured by MACUSA (Magical Congress of the United States of America), with the help of Newt Scamander. But, making good on his threat, Grindelwald escaped custody and has set about gathering followers, most unsuspecting of his true agenda: to raise wizards and witches up to rule over all non-magical beings.
In an effort to thwart Grindelwald's plans, Albus Dumbledore enlists his former student Newt Scamander, who agrees to help, unaware of the dangers that lie ahead. Lines are drawn as love and loyalty are tested, even among the truest friends and family, in an increasingly divided wizarding world.
