Johnny Depp Runs Amok In The Magical New Trailer & Poster For FANTASTIC BEASTS: THE CRIMES OF GRINDELWALD

This November, get ready to reenter J.K. Rowling's beloved Wizarding World of Harry Potter with the eagerly-awaited Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald.

Following a fun panel discussion, which included a surprise appearance from Johnny Depp in character, Warner Bros. just released their first trailer of the day, which features plenty of magical mayhem as Gellert Grindelwald (Johnny Depp) escapes captivity and sets his sights on Newt Scamander (Eddie Redmayne) and his friends while also setting a dastardly new plan in motion.

At the end of the first film, the powerful dark wizard Gellert Grindelwald was captured by MACUSA (Magical Congress of the United States of America), with the help of Newt Scamander. But, making good on his threat, Grindelwald escaped custody and has set about gathering followers, most unsuspecting of his true agenda: to raise wizards and witches up to rule over all non-magical beings.

In an effort to thwart Grindelwald's plans, Albus Dumbledore enlists his former student Newt Scamander, who agrees to help, unaware of the dangers that lie ahead. Lines are drawn as love and loyalty are tested, even among the truest friends and family, in an increasingly divided wizarding world.

- Production and Costume designs make me drool. Can I dress like this?! Sort of already do.

- CGI effects seem more crisp and defined than in original film.

- Enjoy they are hinting that the Harry Potter present could be in danger from ever happening. Whether that be from magical time interference or what.

- Johnny Depp looks in better shape than he has in some time. Good definition to his face and it appears he is hopefully off the sauce.

- Still would like to know more about the plot.

- Ezra Miller. Wow! 😄

Looks good. I throughly enjoyed the first film (after the abysmal Cursed Child) so I'm ready to see what Rowling has in store next.

I like Depps performance. I was worried he would be too similar to Voldemort (both hating muggles, evil etc).
