Percy Jackson has had an unnervingly quiet school year. But then he discovers that the magical borders protecting Half Blood Hill are failing. Unless something is done, the camp will be attacked by demons and monsters. The only way to restore power to the camp's borders and to save their home is to find the mythical Golden Fleece. And the only who can undertake this dangerous quest are Percy and his friends. Embarking on a treacherous odyssey into the uncharted waters of the Sea of Monsters (known to humans as the Bermuda Triangle), they battle terrifying creatures, an army of zombies, and the ultimate Evil.

Percy Jackson: The Sea of Monsters (2013) directed by Thor Freudenthal, from a screenplay written by Scott Alexander and Larry Karaszewski. The cast includes: Logan Lerman, Alexandra Daddario, Jake Abel, Brandon T. Jackson, Douglas Smith, Leven Rambin, Nathan Fillion, and the always stellar, Stanley Tucci. The film swims into theaters August 7th, 2013!

Wish the first one had gone more by the book. No M&M 's no St. Louis Arch. Peter Jackson still is the best for giving you everything in the book and more, not less. Oh and 3 more days till Thor trailer!!

Even thought the first film wasn't so loyal to the book, it was still entertaining IMO. The only thing that I really felt bad for not being in the movie was Ares.

@superman Yes! Zeus in a suit just seems wrong . But if ya can't get myths in pure form ya take what you can get. Maybe Hercules will be more in its own time.

I liked the first one. I'll check this out.

Solid, young-adult, adventure movies.

@superman2013 The second I saw the guy looking at Medusa on the back if his iPod touch, I completely lost it, man. This shit is not for me.

I think it was past the writer's bedtime when he thought of that.
