What can we do, it might be funny. I guess they're trying to strike it rich like Enchanted. But George Lopez's Grouchy should have been named malhumorado. Grouchy just sounds too much south of the border lol.

I wonder if they sing that horrible song. My sisters used to go around singing that song. Drove me nuts.

Not only was it a stupid idea to make this movie but it became an even more stupid idea by putting them in the "real" world. Soon we shall see a Care Bear live action movie set in space and then a Strawberry Shortcake movie set in Gotham City...WFT...don't get me started on Thunder Cats or He-Man ;P

Of course most here are going to dog the movie. You have to take it for what it is though. It's a family, kids movie and it looks decent enough for those who fit that demographic. Hank looks like he will be a great Gargamel!

This looks like it could be a lot of fun. I'd honestly go spend my $10 on this over most of what's coming out this summer. Some of us go to movies for escapist fun, and to forget the gloom and doom of everyday life in the modern world for a couple of hours. This movie looks like just what a Smurf movie should be expected to be. It also looks a hell of a lot better than most "kids" movies that come out.

Am I the only one here who remembers this?

Why do the writers always find a need to add body humor. That's not what Smurfs is about. That goes for The Chipmunks too.

It doesn't look as bad as I expected.

And that Smurf isn't Irish, he's scottish! I hate when Americans think kilts and bagpipes are Irish.... >:(
