It was recently announced that Back To the Future director Robert Zemeckis' new take on Roald Dahl's The Witches will be heading straight to HBO Max just in time for Halloween, and a new featurette is now online.

The sneak peek features brief interview snippets with most of the main cast members, along with some new footage from the movie. In one shot, we see Anne Hathaway's Grand High Witch let her human façade slip as she flashes us a freaky, Cheshire Cat grin that stretches all the way to her ears!

This is a kid's movie, right?

Check out the video below along with a poster and the first teaser trailer, and let us know what you think.

Zemeckis penned the script with with his ImageMovers partner Jack Rapke. The duo will also produce alongside Guillermo del Toro, who was originally attached to direct, and Alfonso Cuaron.

The Witches also stars Octavia Spencer, Stanley Tucci, Kristin Chenoweth, Jahzir Bruno, and Chris Rock. Do you guys plan on checking this out on Octover 22? Should be a suitably scary watch for the family this spooky season.

Looks like a great way to get into the Halloween spirit. I think I'll check it out.

The original, that is. Not this one.
