EXCLUSIVE: Green Lantern's Ferris Aircraft Set Picture

The headquarters building for the fictitious Ferris Aircraft has just been put together for Martin Campbell's space adventure Green Lantern.

Several weeks ago, we revealed that New Orleans' Lakefront Airport was chosen as the location for the fictitious Ferris Aircraft airfield. In the DC comics universe, Ferris Air is owned and operated by Carl Ferris (Jay O. Saunders) and his daughter Carol (Blake Lively); it is also where Hal Jordan (Ryan Reynolds) works as a test pilot. Lakefront Airport will be used for several scenes in the film taken directly from the comics, including the crash site where our hero's father meets his demise.

Thanks to CBM scooper Dave, we now have our first look at the headquarters building for Ferris Air; which the production crew designed directly over the airport's working terminal. The mock air traffic control tower in the lower left appears to be the same one constructed and used at Second Line Stages.

DC needs to learn how to keep their movies under wraps. They need to take a lesson from the THOR crew. They are almost done filming and 1 official pic and 1 leaked pic have been shown. Now thats how u film a CBM.

InterestingJohn
While that's true for existing GL fans, someone that is new to the DCU may be a little surprised. Especially if they go see the movie and his father is presented as a support to the story and he's snuffed out quickly.

I can admit when I'm wrong...

Hey, I just finished #52. Was there some sort of reveal about Guy and Ganthet(especially Guy, the Guardians, especially Ganthet does not surprise me anymore) turning against Hal in the GL Corps series (of which, I don't read)? Because that seemed a bit too random of a set-up.

Like I said, I can admit when I'm wrong.

But for the sake of arguement, one might say a farm or some locale isn't as pivotal as an event like his father dying. I'm just saying...
You guys are no doubt correct.
MPP, your last sentence is the best criterion and explanation. Thanks.

Yeah, the recent GL #52. Yes, Hal will not be happy. But I take it you don't have any insight beyond the last page?

I gotta agree that the spoilers need to be out. The story of Supes and Bats is weeeeell to known, but Green Lantern is not that known, at least to the common man.
BEWARE THE SPOILERS POWER!
