Here is a video I found on MTV.com featuring Ryan Reynolds, Blake Lively, and Peter Sarsgaard talking about their respective characters in Green Lantern.

Here are some snippets from what they had to say in the clip: (thanks to MTV for the quotes)

Describing Hal Jordan, Ryan Reynolds told MTV News his character is at "an all-time low" when the alien Abin Sur bestows upon him a powerful ring, inducting him into the "elite, intergalactic police force" known as the Green Lantern Corps.

"Carol Ferris, she runs the aviation company [Hal] works for, and they have a romantic history," explained Blake Lively.

"Hector Hammond is a xenobiologist . . . someone who studies life forms that exist in hostile environments on the Earth to better understand what might exist on other planets," said Peter Sarsgaard of his character in the film.

and Sarsgaard later added in the video that Hector's evil alter ego, Parallax "is sort of the essence of all fear and evil in the galaxy."

Look for Green Lantern at a theater near you this Friday, June 17th!

@Intruder Based on what, 5 reviews? Green Lantern has 24 and is at 21%. I'll bet Penguins will hit below 40% once some more reviews come in.

Look at Transformers...mixed on rotten tomatoes. Turned out just fine.

Batman '89 got mixed reviews as well, and look what happened-still earned serious cash.

Same with JP2. mixed reviews, even though most of you guys are 'meh', i consider it one of my childhood faves still kicked ass at the box office.

GL will be alright.
