Green Lantern Set Pictures and 'Unofficial' Scene Description

Another eager fan took a stroll around the Green Lantern airport set and managed to provide us with a few pictures and details of his day as a movie extra.

It is fairly well known by now that Warner Bros has been using New Orleans Lakeshore Airport as the set of the fictitious Ferris Air for Martin Campbell's Green Lantern. It appears that an eager fan (Cyber Bishop) has followed in my footsteps by offering an unofficial report of the day's filming.

Here is his EDITED description of the scene he worked on as an extra for Green Lantern:

"We got to the set around 4:45 am (call time was 5:00am due to wardrobe fittings for 25+ extras).

When we got to the set they actually made us Ferris Air badges with our real names on them.

They had huge Ferris and American flags hanging, and an experimental prop plane in the center with ropes around it.

Two Ferris personnel carts bringing senator Hammond and some other business men around the plane (marked United States Air Force) to their destination (the hangar with the experimental plane).

Tim Robbins (Senator Hammond), Jay O. Sanders (Carl Ferris) and Deke Anderson (4 Star General) were all in the carts getting transported to the other hangar.

Ryan Reynolds and Peter Sarsgaard were scheduled to be in the scene"

When we got back I did manage to go behind the wardrobe rack nearest to me and snap a shot of a Ferris air logo on a jumpsuit [and airport exit]:

I have been to every air base since I was growing up ? and Thank Goodness they filmed the set Ferris Aircraft in New Orleans. I will like to see Ryan dressed up in the Ferris Aircraft attendant outfit. I think I read in the Green Lantern comics that Hal Jordan dresses in the Military suit for Ferris Aircraft.

HAHAHA. You think it's heavy dragging that hose out there for just one day. I'm doing it 12 hours a day with one day off a week. Oh, did I mention I'm in the middle east right now too. Good thing I don't have to much time left over here.

Poni: Like CKAL pointed out, this guys gave up a lot of clues as to who he is. Either he made some of that stuff up to mislead the WB head hunters (which I would have done) or he feels confident they won't find him.

Then why did you post it for all to see? Nothing groundbreaking here.

Another thought. You could have actually edited the names of people out of the story, you know, to protect him from his stupid self. You are aware WB, Big Moose and Batherson Casting monitor all these stories.

I second ToughGrappler but I love anything they can get their hands on! Any thing Green is goooooood! But we need more concept art and an interview like that Thor bs. Havent this movie been in production far longer than the mighty Thor?

Beware my power!
