Hyping anticipation for Warner Bros & Martin Campbell's Green Lantern flick, two television ads, previously seen in low-quality, have found their way online in crisp high-definition. Featuring somewhat new lines of dilolgue, check them out below.

Green Lantern follows a universe as vast as it is mysterious, where a small but powerful force has existed for centuries. Protectors of peace and justice, they are called the Green Lantern Corps. A brotherhood of warriors sworn to keep intergalactic order, each Green Lantern wears a ring that grants him superpowers. But when a new enemy called Parallax threatens to destroy the balance of power in the Universe, their fate and the fate of Earth lie in the hands of their newest recruit, the first human ever selected: Hal Jordan. Starring Ryan Reynolds, Blake Lively, & Peter Sarsgaard the film releases June 17!

Yea I believe they just showed this one during the NBA Finals. Anyway I meant to comment earlier but the scene where Sinestro tells Hal, "Good Luck GL" why does my gut tell me it's towards the end and when Sinestro shows that's he turning bad. So Hal tells him I'm going to stop you yada yada and Sinestro responds the following

I actually bet it's just before he heads back to earth to fight Parallax, after pleading with the Guardians to help him and after Sinestro tells him "if you die your world is..."

That second TV spot is just awesome, the best one so far! Hal: "You gotta help me save my world." Sinestro: "Good luck, Green Lantern." Sinestro for the win!

@Xenix - the costume always has been and always will be a permanent CONSTRUCT that comes with the ring, it is an obvious, yet unspoken literal fact in every comic book or animated reference in regards to GL rings - the only exceptions would be Alan Scott. Hence why it makes sense that it is part of the CGI. Quit whining and get over it.

This will look great when they get the final effects done!

Very spiffy. If you go back and watch the first trailer, there's a huge quality boost for the CGI in the apartment scene. Looking forward to it!

With any comic adaption, you'll never please everyone in regards to the main characters costume. I think it looks awesome, especially in the most recent trailers. The energy visibly pulsing down his arm as he uses the ring is a very cool touch!
@Xenix,
The way they've done it IS storytelling. Pretty well every live action CBM has used practical effects for the costume, GL is a perfect character to take things to the next level with a cgi costume. It's called progress. Fine, you don't agree with it, your perogative. But many fans are loving it, myself included.

I hope this movie doesn't turn out all 'craptastic', GI Joe, 2012-style.
Released August 4 in Australia - Seven weeks late - WTF?

@Xenix,
Well, let's agree to disagree :)
I think it looks awesome, and was a great design decision which was well implemented...particularly after the improvements were made. Any color will vary in appearance depending on its environment.

More like Human musculature. I think that's what they were going for.

ILM was probably busy with Transformers. I don't know how VFX companies work, but I can only assume that they can take on just so many projects at a time.
Could be wrong though.

Saying the CG looks bad has just become a mantra for those against the movie from before thay saw any completed footage.Ignore them.It looks outstanding in HD.
Some people just get stuck in ruts and/or are too ashamed to admit when they're wrong.
