Green Lantern: Emerald Knights is an all-new DC Universe Animated Original Movie that weaves six interlocking stories of the Green Lantern Corps’ rich mythology around preparations for an attack by an ancient enemy. As the battle approaches, Hal Jordan (voiced by Nathan Fillion, Castle) mentors new recruit Arisia (Elisabeth Moss, Mad Men) in the history of the Green Lantern Corps, telling tales of Avra (the first Green Lantern) and several of Hal’s comrades – including Abin Sur, Kilowog, Laira and Mogo. In the end, Arisia must rise to the occasion to help Hal, Sinestro and the entire Green Lantern Corps save the universe from the destructive forces of Krona.

Penned by comic book luminaries Geoff Johns, Dave Gibbons, Peter J. Tomasi, Eddie Berganza, Alan Burnett, Todd Casey and Michael Green & Marc Guggenheim, Green Lantern: Emerald Knights will be distributed June 7 by Warner Home Video as part of the build up to the release of the highly anticipated live action film, Green Lantern, in theatres June 17th.

Ok, I'm NOT a DC fan at all... but I'd like to give it a shot. Which arc would you say I must start with? Which would you recommend where I could get a good look at all the main characters in all their prime? I'd appreciate your help

lol , well considering Geoff Johns pretty much has crafted a story that has been going on for the past 20 years , a good starting out point would be Gl rebirth and move forward from there. Thats as far as Green lantern goes if you want something that encompasses the whole DC Universe, then just keep reading GL it will take you to Blackest night and Brightest Day and that will cover the whole Dc universe , lol. Thank you for Trade paperbacks lol

I would definitely start with Rebirth and then go on to Secret Origins and then just move forward from there. Rebirth does a good job of catching you up if you haven't read any gl comics before and it has all the main green lantern characters as well. Sinestro Corps War showcases all the main characters as well and of course Blackest Night and Brightest Day do also.

@ AlexdoxA Read Emerald Dawn I&II then Emerald Twilight Then Rebirth and Secret Origins. After rebirth it is easy to catch up from there almost all the comics are in book form now

So this might some stupid but is this in the same 'universe' as First Flight? and if so it must be set during the events? which seems quite confusing tho...
