So excited for this one. Too bad Marvel kicked the shit out of DC this year at the Comic Con.

I've never been to one but it seems to me, with the Avengers, GL, Thor and Cap movies this has to be one of the better Comic Cons.

@Tree24K: Yes and no. As a comic book movie fan, yes, this was one of the best ever! Especially when you throw Red, Green Hornet and Cowboys and Aliens into the mix. Just seeing Harrison Ford made the long hours spent on my feet worth it. However, as a comic book fan, it was one of the worst ever. The comic section has shrunk to a pififul level, with Artist's Alley stuck way back in a corner and none of the big companies bringing out any top talent.

@Brent. I didn't even think about adding those other three. As a life long lover of all things comics (well mostly) I kind of feel your pain on the shortage of actual comic book features. For me, over the last 10 years, I have got to read and collect less and less to the point of zero. Now the movies are pretty much my main connection to the world I've grown up with. For this reason alone I have been appreciative of every comic movie that gets made. I'd rather be bitching about the things in X3 and Spidey 3 that were wrong as opposed to not having them at all. Eventually I hope that the medium puts out nothing but quality a la Dark Knight, Ironman, Hellboy. And less Batman and Robin, Steel etc...

magic8 I'm glad you asked. I guess looking back at it, I wasn't very clear.

"So excited for this one" - meant I am eagerly anticipating this movie. Meaning Green Lanter.

"Too bad Marvel kicked the shit out of DC this year at Comic Con." - Okay this is me taking a playful poke at the DC honks out there. I, being a faithful Marvel Zombie, am overly pleased at Marvels presence at the Con. Truth-be-told I love all the DC movies too and hope that they both keep churning quality flicks we can all enjoy.

Did I clear that up without butting heads with anyone?

marvel has the potential to screw up its films...

stealing a convention doesnt mean ****, tdk had no presentation at comic con. look how horrible that turned out

I'm a true blue DC fanboy and I was at the Con every day and I can tell you 100% that Marvel (regretably) had a better showing than DC.

But as I always point out, it's not a fair comparison since Marvel operates under it's own studio which does nothing but put out Marvel superhero movies. DC is WB which has dozens of other movies in a year. It's not realistic to expect them to put out superhero movies at the same rate that Marvel does.

That being said and GL Aside, DC/WB spent a lot of time telling, hinting and winking at us about upcoming projects. Marvel showed us.
