Tittie's Top 5 Reasons Why All The Lantern Corps Are Awesome!

Tittie's Top 5 Reasons Why All The Lantern Corps Are Awesome!

If you think like me, the introduction of the ROY G BIV element in the Green Lantern series was one of the best ideas ever in comic history.

Let's start the countdown!

5. The Variety of Species

Sinestro. Arkillo. Atrocitus. Larfleeze. Saint Walker. Arisia. Kilowog. Tomar-Re. Just to name a few. There's an enormous plethora of alien races found within the pages of these books. The universe created in the Green Lantern books is practically limitless. I'm dropping a match in the gas tank (boom boom) by saying this universe could be compared to the ever expanding/retconning Star Wars Universe.

4. The Emotional Spectrum

We've all had those days where we're so full of rage, we see nothing but red. And often times, whilst filled with anger, we sometimes spew up a red plasmic substance. The emotions that the various Corps are associated with is a great addition. Love, Avarice, Compassion, Will, Fear, Rage, Hope...And if you want to nitpick, Life and Death.

3. Teamwork

Granted, not a whole lot of Corps members are actually willing to work together unless absolutely necessary. But the mere fact that the Blue Lantern ring only exudes it's full power in the vicinity of a Green Lantern makes for a pretty interesting angle. Especially when you consider the fact that a Blue ring can charge a Green ring to double its power.

2. Agent Orange

Larfleeze is technically the only living Orange Lantern, which makes him a little more noteworthy than the other Corps. The characters he kills end up in his Lantern as part of his light construct Corps. His greed got so out of control, he kills others who even come near his planet. If there ever was an award for being a greedy little Gollum-esque bastard, Larfleeze would take the cake...and eat it too.

1. Reasonability

The fact that Love and Rage are on the furthest ends of the spectrum also brought up how unreasonable they are to deal with, which in turn was another excellent aspect of the Corps. Some people go absolutely crazy when they're in love, some people fly off the handle and do something reckless when they're infuriated. The further on the outskirts of the spectrum you are, the less likely you are to be thinking level-headed.

That's it for the countdown, but just remember...All Will Be Well.

Focker=Out!

Larfleeze is the best Lantern for so many reasons...

1- He is a complete badass fan-favorite
2- He is a sympathetic yet mysterious character at the same time.

3- His greed is probably the most notable human trait and most people can easily relate to him (come on admit it!)

Larfleeze= Best Lantern introduced since Sinestro, If not Better!!!
