Hal Jordan is a gifted and cocky test pilot, but the Green Lanterns have little respect for humans, who have never harnessed the infinite powers of the ring before. But Hal is clearly the missing piece to the puzzle, and along with his determination and willpower, he has one thing no member of the Corps has ever had: humanity. With the encouragement of fellow pilot and childhood sweetheart Carol Ferris, if Hal can quickly master his new powers and find the courage to overcome his fears, he may prove to be not only the key to defeating Parallax...he will become the greatest Green Lantern of all.






With an all star cast which includes Ryan Reynolds as Hal Jordan, Blake Lively as Carol Ferris and Mark Strong as Sinestro, director Martin Campbell's Green Lantern is set to be released in 3D on June 17, later this year!

Martin Campbell said their was 8 OTHER people aside from Reynolds who were in the auditioning process to play Hal Jordan.

Campbell said Reynolds was his number one choice for Hal throughout it, for his acting ability, already being in super-hero shape, and all that good stuff.

He proved worthy. RR is going to surprise the haters. ;P

It's being converted to 3D. Wasn't up to Campbell, he said it doesn't interest him that much.

When I see Ryan Reynolds, all I see is Hal Jordan. My only problem with Reynolds is his hair! Why didn't they make his hair look just like it does in The Change-Up for Hal Jordan?

Behind the scenes shots like this always confirms that I could never be an actor. How can you take yourself seriously when you have a big ass camera 6 inches from your face and you have to look all puppy eyed to the side while you lament the complexities of your life. It looks ridiculous.

More power to them.

Wow, these bts pictures are of the main character standing and sitting. Reminds me alot of Iron Man 2. lol
