@deadpooljustice

I take it marvel got rid of all of it's goodwill when it botched iron man 2 despite it being the sequel to undoubtably one of the best comic book movies ever? Marvel released plenty of crappy films during their days of co-production, which is what DC is currently doing.

Also the scale in this kicks the shit out of thor. Not only was asgard smallish and unimpressive for a realm occupied by gods, it was empty!! You hardly would even know nayone inhabited asgard if not for the few scenes in odin's hall....

In comparison oa looks like a vast, living strange universe, that I buy actually existing and having things going on when the camera isn't immediately needing something to.

Gauging sinestros reaction to confronting paralax and the yellow spectrum of emotional energy should be interesting, and give us some nice foreshadowing into his eventual fall.

The main stream audience doesn't check up on this sort of stuff regularly like us. So most of the people who want to see this aren't complaining about the spoilers :P

I have to admit originally I wasn't too happy about how they had made this movie look for my favorite characters. And I'm sure most of you would agree that it originally looked like crap, however it looks like they may have taken that 9 million they were given and made Green Lantern look like Green Lantern. I will not completely judge the film until I have seen it. I'm a huge GL fan and a Ryan Reynolds fan so lets see what they have in store for us. By the way Mark Strong looks amazing as Sinestro good job on that one cast Director, just wish they would have picked Fillion to play Jordan. Also off topic X-Men First Class was actually surprisingly good FOX may have redeemed themselves on the X-Men franchise. Although they still cant keep a good show on their station for the life of them IE canceling Firefly, Family Guy (We brought that back FOX not you the FANS), and now they cancelled Human Target and Breaking In both of which were great shows. Come on CW pick up Human Target fill Smallville's slot with it that show is great! And Christian Slater you are a good actor networks just don't get you My Own Worst Enemy and Breaking In are great shows! Watch them!

@puyguy- Quit whining, Thor looks to still be better than Green Lantern. I'm looking forward to this movie and hope it does good but Thor still seems better.

@Puyguy - I completely agree with you on Thor! And Sinestro will turn bad in the sequel!

Now this... Holy [frick]! I need to see this even more than a heroin addict need a new shot! Even if you were addicted to crack, cocain, dust and whatever, that would be insufficient to compare to my need to see this movie!!

Ok enough of this DC / Marvel, frankly I don't care for Marvel. Yea I'll watch it but I don't bleed Marvel like I do DC. We know on this site we have a war between ourselves about the topic. Anyway. Imo I have a feeling Sinestro turns bad in this film, there's a scene where he tells Hal, "Good Luck Green Lantern". Why would Sinestro tell him in a such serious tone and seems to be scene. So I'm thinking that's the moment when he reveals he's turning. So I'm thinking the 2nd is Sinestro War, but the more interesting thing about this DCMarvels first vid at 2:07 the clipboard has Blackest Night symbol. Why would it be there, makes no sense. Perhaps it can lead to the 3rd or maybe it has something to do with the rumored JLA flick. Just my opinion.

Beautifully done! These effects look like a Masterpiece, I truly believe DC is moving in the right direction with movies like Green Lantern, The Dark Knight Rises & The Man of Steel. Green Lantern looks awesome & I think that is will open doors for other DC heroes like The Flash & more but not 2 get to far ahead of myself but I look so forward 2 June 17, 2011 the day that The Green Lantern/Hal Jordan takes flight this is an EPIC Success!
