Today, for my third viewing of Marvel's brilliant Guardians Of The Galaxy, my fiancee and I opted to see it in IMAX.
There were two things I picked up on this time around. One of which I was looking out for and the other I just happened to notice.

The first was whether Adam Warlock's cocoon was broken open or not after Carina grabs the Power Gem/Stone. The cocoon was just behind Peter, Rocket, Groot and Gamora as The Collector explains what the Stones are. As Carina grabs the Stone in a moment of pure emotion, devastating blasts of energy project all around Tivan's collection. I noticed one of those blasts hits the enclosure which holds Adam Warlock's cocoon. You do not see the end result in that sequence as everyone is either seeking shelter or just sprinting out of the building entirely. But in the end credits scene with Howard the Duck, there seems to be no sign of the cocoon whatsoever.

The other bit I noticed was Groot's head shape after he sacrifices himself and returns as a twig. His "hair" to be more precise. It was not like his previous shape at all, it actually resembled his comic book shape. I just thought that was interesting, he may possibly look slightly different in Guardians Of The Galaxy 2. Which wouldn't bother me the slightest, I would probably like it more to be honest.

That's it, be sure to share your thoughts below!

I watched it twice, the second time I was looking out for Warlocks open cocoon to but didn't see it. I was also looking for Beta Ray Bill. The dude is plainly visible from the back and I'm still not sure. It's definitely a long red cape, definitely a beige head and there appears to be a hammer against the glass in his cage. That's ware my real doubt comes in that it's him... how could Bill be a prisoner WITH his hammer?

I think the AW's Cocoon was meant just as a easter egg and we are not going to see Warlock anytime soon.

I hope Groot can grow and shrink at will in GOTG 2.

Clearly there is SOMETHING going on with the cocoon and was not JUST an easter egg as someone in the comments suggested. They made sure to CLEARLY focus on the cocoon getting blasted as well as having it in focus multiple times. I just do not think they would have included showing the infinity backlash zap it if it were JUST an easter egg because they plan not to use Adam Warlock. Considering the story we are slowly building to, Adam Warlock will show up sooner or later. He is VERY important to the Infinity Gauntlet. If they were just going to gloss over him for that story then they would not have introduce his cocoon.

The weird thing, the BRB dude actually looked more like this than BRB...but he also appeared to have large, pointy ears, so who knows...

@sikwon the person who you claim to have a red cape is just a big alien in red prison like clothes i noticed it when the crew walk into collectors building i think straight after rocket and cosmo give each other the evils.
