James Gunn Shares Another Image From The Set Of GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY

James Gunn has dropped another behind the scenes image from Guardians of the Galaxy. This time he shows off the exterior set of the Kyln prison seen in the trailers. Hit the jump to read what the director had to say about this set! Check it out.

Here's what the director said about this set,"The exterior of the Kyln prison walkway, which leads prisoners into the Kyln itself (a much bigger structure four levels high I was standing on to take this picture). The Kyln set was composed of 350,000 pounds of steel. The only way we could afford to do it was to buy the steel, build the set, and then melt the steel down and sell it back. Amazingly, the Kyln was only our third or fourth biggest set. " Are you guys pumped for Guardians of the Galaxy?
 
Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy is presented by Marvel Studios and stars Chris Pratt, Zoe Saldana, Dave Bautista, Bradley Cooper as the voice of Rocket, Vin Diesel as the voice of Groot, Lee Pace, Michael Rooker, Karen Gilian, Djimon Hounsou with John C. Reilly, Glenn Close as Commander Rael and Benicio del Toro as The Collector. Distributed by Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures, the film opens August 1, 2014.
