Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy expands the Marvel Cinematic Universe into the cosmos, where brash adventurer Peter Quill finds himself the object of an unrelenting bounty hunt after stealing a mysterious orb coveted by Ronan, a powerful villain with ambitions that threaten the entire universe. To evade the ever-persistent Ronan, Quill is forced into an uneasy truce with a quartet of disparate misfits–Rocket, a gun-toting raccoon, Groot, a tree-like humanoid, the deadly and enigmatic Gamora and the revenge-driven Drax the Destroyer. But when Peter discovers the true power of the orb and the menace it poses to the cosmos, he must do his best to rally his ragtag rivals for a last, desperate stand - with the galaxy’s fate in the balance. Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy is presented by Marvel Studios and stars Chris Pratt, Zoe Saldana, Dave Bautista, Bradley Cooper as the voice of Rocket, Vin Diesel as the voice of Groot, Lee Pace, Michael Rooker, Karen Gilian, Djimon Hounsou with John C. Reilly, Glenn Close as Commander Rael and Benicio del Toro as The Collector.

Pick up a copy of Guardians Of The Galaxy on DVD or Blu-ray from December 9th.

Nope, not watching anymore blu-ray extras spoiler-videos. It will spoil my Christmas present and these 3d blu-rays are pricey enough as it is and i like to get my money's worth and the maximum surprise and enjoyment out of them.

Sorry but Gamora was not cast well in my opinion, she was too "nice" and "cute" and not very convincing.

Drax was better than expected character wise, looks not so much.

My only gripes..

This is some of the best makeup and costume design I have seen in a while.

I enjoyed Zoe Saldana as Gamora, but agree she was miscast. Her slight frame, lithe body movements and previous martial arts/stunt experience would have been better matched as Mantis.

If Mantis were in the sequel, Maggie Q would be a good option.

Both were a miscast. But the film was good, so I can overlook them.

I liked the scene. Although I feel they still down played Gamora's power. She needs a "Winter Soldier" upgrade.

She went toe to toe with Ronan and is the deadliest woman in the galaxy. She didn't really come off that way in GOTG.

Hope they show more of her powers in GOTG2.

Gamora is warrior, but she is not crazy.. right?

What is this stuff with any character that are "Powered down" if they are not showing they muscles all the time???

@PymParticle

You are on the money!
Gamora: at one time, she was known as "The Deadliest Woman in the Universe."

Not in THAT movie.

But we're nitpicking. The important thing is that they got the green right. Everything else is for the writers of the movie to add or subtract as they (who know better) see fit.

Gamora has cap level strength almost. They need to show that. She's basically a cybernetic super soldier like Winter Soldier p

Ronan is one marvels most badass villains. So underused. I hope he's brought back in some capacity. Hope he wasn't killed by stone or maybe he can be resssurected by Thanos for infinity war. Thanos used mind stone to make him loyal to Thanos for the war.

Great little scene, adds more depth to Nebula. I always felt Gamora was a boring character to begin with, and I think that was present in the movie too. We really didn't get much ass-kicking from her, as everyone notes. She's got some good moments in the comics, but her many of her female teammates are more interesting.

I really hope for Nebula to steal the Infinity Gauntlet like she did in the comics.

@DrDoom, agreed. We got their one fight and that was it for actual plot elements.
