Rocket Raccoon Fabrikation Figure From Funko

Guardians of the Galaxy is almost here and Funko has released a new Rocket Raccoon figure in celebration of the upcoming film's release!

Fabrikations is a new line of 6” soft sculpted figures. These soft sculpted figures were created with the collector in mind. Each Fabrikation Soft Sculpture is filled with a dense foam to achieve a high-end lush feel. In addition, each Fabrikation is weighted to allow each figure to stand securely on the surface of your choice.  Rocket Raccoon Fabrikation features a rotating head and a vinyl accessory.

From Marvel, the studio that brought you the global blockbuster franchises of Iron Man, Thor, Captain America and The Avengers, comes a new team—the Guardians of the Galaxy. An action-packed, epic space adventure, Marvel's “Guardians of the Galaxy” expands the Marvel Cinematic Universe into the cosmos, where brash adventurer Peter Quill finds himself the object of an unrelenting bounty hunt after stealing a mysterious orb coveted by Ronan, a powerful villain with ambitions that threaten the entire universe. To evade the ever-persistent Ronan, Quill is forced into an uneasy truce with a quartet of disparate misfits—Rocket, a gun-toting raccoon, Groot, a tree-like humanoid, the deadly and enigmatic Gamora and the revenge-driven Drax the Destroyer. But when Quill discovers the true power of the orb and the menace it poses to the cosmos, he must do his best to rally his ragtag rivals for a last, desperate stand—with the galaxy's fate in the balance.

Marvel’s “Guardians of the Galaxy,” which first appeared in comic books in Marvel Super-Heroes, Issue #18 (Jan. 1969), stars Chris Pratt, Zoe Saldana, Dave Bautista, featuring Vin Diesel as Groot, Bradley Cooper as Rocket, Lee Pace, Michael Rooker, Karen Gillan, Djimon Hounsou, with John C. Reilly, Glenn Close as Nova Prime and Benicio Del Toro as The Collector.

But in all honestly, that's exactly why I hate it so much. As a Batman fan, it's annoying to see WB just use him as a cash draw by putting Batman into everything rather than focusing on making quality entertainment. For instance, did they really have to make another Batman reboot just 4 years after TDK trilogy ended? I would've preferred a better Superman movie or even a Wonder Woman movie. More isn't always better.

@bluedude

I'm not denying that they're also focusing on other characters now, and that's great, but we still have 2 Batman movies out this year, an animated TV show,a prequel series, a video game, and not even the Superman reboot was safe from Batman. They even managed to put a Batman easter egg in the Flash pilot.

I would much rather they leave the character alone for a few years and focus on other characters. Then if they make a JLA movie, introduce a new Batman in that since we already know his backstory.
