It was no surprise that almost every theater goer leaving Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy had become enamored with baby Groot, who shows up for 43 seconds in the credits, and many fans hoped to own a similar figure someday soon.

Well, it looks like the wait won't be much longer as Mashable has revealed that an officially licensed dancing baby Groot, manufactured by Marvel Entertaiment and KIDdesigns, will be arriving in stores just in time for Christmas. The dancing figure will cost about $14.99 and play an electronic version of the Jackson 5's "I Want You Back" from a built-in speaker.

Check him out in action below!

From Marvel, the studio that brought you the global blockbuster franchises of Iron Man, Thor, Captain America and The Avengers, comes a new team--the Guardians of the Galaxy. An action-packed, epic space adventure, Marvel's "Guardians of the Galaxy" expands the Marvel Cinematic Universe into the cosmos, where brash adventurer Peter Quill finds himself the object of an unrelenting bounty hunt after stealing a mysterious orb coveted by Ronan, a powerful villain with ambitions that threaten the entire universe. To evade the ever-persistent Ronan, Quill is forced into an uneasy truce with a quartet of disparate misfits--Rocket, a gun-toting raccoon; Groot, a tree-like humanoid; the deadly and enigmatic Gamora; and the revenge-driven Drax the Destroyer. But when Quill discovers the true power of the orb and the menace it poses to the cosmos, he must do his best to rally his ragtag rivals for a last, desperate stand--with the galaxy's fate in the balance.

Guardians of the Galaxy features:
Director: James Gunn
Chris Pratt as Peter Quill/Star-Lord

Wow, this is one of the laziest toys I've ever seen. They're completely unprepared for audiences to fall in love with one of their most lovable characters, they take forever to meet the demands/expectations of people who dared to want a Groot toy...and they come out with this? Lazy, lazy, lazy.

Yeah, I agree with b&y. All it takes is for a lonely house wife's Jack Rabbit 3000 to die before she bites down on her fist when seeing this in her kid's room.

That... does rather look like a Groot themed dildo. And with the arms... (°o°)'

I'm pretty sure that's not exactly what the girls I heard after each GOTG screening I attended had in mind when they said "I want a Baby Groot!", but, urm, there might be a market for that still.

Although it'd be very, very wrong! >:(

Someone needs to take the scene of baby Groot dancing, slow it down, mute it, and overdub it with porno music.

Drax's stare is going to take on a whole'nother context.

Just watching that clip from the movie again makes me realize how pissed off George Lucas must be about Guardians of the Galaxy making two nearly-universally-loved, fully CG characters, but everyone hated Jar Jar.

That's right, George, go cry into your billions of dollars in what I imagine is a Scrooge MacDuckian swimming pool vault.

At least have some arm movements, or motion senser so when you move it stops.

They must've worked really hard to make this somehow worse than the bobblehead one.

This would hold a kid's interest at Christmas for as long as it takes to unwrap and open it.
