SNL Spoofs Marvel; He-Man (Chris Pratt) & She-Ra (Ariana Grande) Come Alive

“Saturday Night Live” host Chris Pratt and musical guest Ariana Grande appeared in a raunchy skit dressed as He-Man and She-Ra. Come see them play with Lion-O. In another skit SNL mocked Marvel Studios ability to churn out hit film after hit film.

Marvel is quite the brand name. Doesn't matter if your film is about "Fancy Ghosts" or "Some Shopping Carts" or even "Pam 2: The Winter Pam" it will be a hit as long it has Marvel slapped on it. That's the gist of the skit Saturday Night Live aired this evening. Tonight's host is Chris Pratt ("Guardians of the Galaxy"), you can see him dressed as Princess Leia in the Marvel skit, he also dons the He-Man costume for a raunchy skit about toys coming alive. He was joined by musical guest Ariana Grande, who was dressed as She-Ra.

Just give all those Marvel parodies the plot of "bad guy wants artifact/tech - takes it - almost destroys world/galaxy/universe - heroes crack jokes and defeat bad guy - heroes hide artifact/tech - stinger at end credits" and you'll have a bazillion dollars.

DO IT!

Awkward moment when SNL has better Nova outfits than the movie does.

See, CA:TWS was good because it was different. The bad guys already had the tech. They didn't have to take it. Uh oh! Big twist! Nobody saw that coming!!!!

@YoungThanos Is there any particular reason why you have so much apparent fanboy hate towards the upcoming F4 movie? I haven't seen a legitimate reason for all of the bitching and moaning. so I was wondering if you had a reason for acting so annoyed by it.

Don't understand what the big deal with Ariana Grand is. She looks about 9 years old but dresses like a 40 year old stripper, which is [frick]ing creepy.

Huh? Mine went back to a Thanos avatar I had a while back, then I changed it to this one again. A good few avis went haywire there a few days ago.

It looks like the cast of the post-90's SNL has learned to memorize lines (mostly), instead of everyone on set staring at the cue cards while they awkwardly read them. Now all they need are some good writers.
