And just for fun, here's their review of the original Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (1990) movie.

Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy expands the Marvel Cinematic Universe into the cosmos, where brash adventurer Peter Quill finds himself the object of an unrelenting bounty hunt after stealing a mysterious orb coveted by Ronan, a powerful villain with ambitions that threaten the entire universe. To evade the ever-persistent Ronan, Quill is forced into an uneasy truce with a quartet of disparate misfits–Rocket, a gun-toting raccoon, Groot, a tree-like humanoid, the deadly and enigmatic Gamora and the revenge-driven Drax the Destroyer. But when Peter discovers the true power of the orb and the menace it poses to the cosmos, he must do his best to rally his ragtag rivals for a last, desperate stand - with the galaxy’s fate in the balance.

Guardians of the Galaxy stars Chris Pratt, Zoe Saldana, Dave Bautista, Bradley Cooper as the voice of Rocket, Vin Diesel as the voice of Groot, Lee Pace, Michael Rooker, Karen Gilian, Djimon Hounsou with John C. Reilly, Glenn Close as Commander Rael and Benicio del Toro as The Collector. Distributed by Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures, the film opens August 1, 2014.

I just saw this movie earlier and I must say....it's AMAZING!!

Seriously, this movie had everything. To mean, it's the best Marvel movie this year, one of the best movies period this year. To me, it's just as great(if not better) than The Avengers!!

SPOILER:

I been saying this since the beginning but I said Drax would find out that Thanos killed his family and not Ronan....and I was right!!

@AlexanderLykins just got back from it, not sure about the cacoon, I was too busy laughing at the other "broken case."

Also, I gotta respectfully disagree with you on Thanos, I thought he looked and sounded awesome, I mean maybe a slightly different purple, but let's be honest, all we had before was the side of his face, it's the same character

I was a bit disappointed. After all the great reviews, I did not feel it lived up to the great ratings. I would give it a 7.5 or 8 out of 10. (and I think CATWS was still a better film). But that's my opinion.

I can see why they announced a sequel already for this movie. It's just that great. Hopefully we will get a Black Panther, Hulk sequel, and a Nova movie before Avengers: IG! :)

Saw it last night, It was just simply f**king awesome haha. I can easily say this is the best movie from Marvel Studios to date, Yes way I mean way better than Avengers. It felt fresh as hell, I didn't think it'd be this damned good but James Gunn, The actors and Visuals really nailed it. And props should be given to them, As I walked out of the movie the sexy worker at the door lol asked me and my homies, Hey so did you guys like it. I respond hell yeah, It was way better than Avengers! She simply dropped her has and looked at her co-worker and replied Nah! Are you serious? I smiled damn right it was worth the ticket price too. She just laughed, And my buddies thought the same as I did. Guardians was just a fun ride, Avengers can take a seat now lol. There's a new team in town. I easily give this movie a 5 out of 5, If you haven't seen it yet. Do yourself a favor go watch it now.u

@AlexanderLykins I see your concern with that, but I'm sure they'll make it work, same as the hulk, which is about as good as you can do with characters like that

GOTG was THE movie this year. I had no problems with Ronan as the villian. Maybe I understand the Kree and Skrull just a little bit. I understood his motivation but not everyone knows about it. Well, that is my dick message for the night. Seeing it again!!!
