There's now less than one week to go until The Guardians of the Galaxy Holiday Special premieres on Disney+, and the first two clips from the second Marvel Studios Special Presentation are finally here. They primarily focus on Drax and Mantis' hunt for the "legendary" Kevin Bacon, and their visit to Earth is clearly going to be a lot of fun to watch.

Marvel Studios has also released a new featurette with comments from the cast and crew, along with plenty of behind-the-scenes footage.

"[The Guardians of the Galaxy Holiday Special] is also very, very different than Vol. 3," writer and director James Gunn recently told Phase Zero"[Doing] this goofy thing like once every four days and going, and shooting four days of Guardians Vol. 3, and then going back..it almost created a lot of whiplash."

"But it was also almost like the Guardians of the Galaxy Holiday Special days were like snow days," he added. "That was recess. That was fun."

In The Guardians of the Galaxy Holiday Special, the Guardians, who are on a mission to make Christmas unforgettable for Quill, head to Earth in search of the perfect present.

Marvel Studios' second Special Presentation stars Chris Pratt, Dave Bautista, Karen Gillan, Pom Klementieff, and features Vin Diesel as Groot and Bradley Cooper as Rocket, Sean Gunn, and The Old 97's, with Michael Rooker and Kevin Bacon.

James Gunn wrote and directed The Guardians of the Galaxy Holiday Special. The executive producers are Kevin Feige, Louis D’Esposito, Victoria Alonso, Brad Winderbaum, Gunn, Sara Smith and Simon Hatt, with David J. Grant and Lars P. Winther serving as co-producers.

Check out the two new clips and that featurette below.

That seond clip felt more like Pom than Mantis. But Drax lighting up at the elf gave me a chuckle. Overall though, I'm gonna be plenty happy watching this.

@MosquitoFarmer - Thanks for saying that. I felt that something was 'off' after watching that but couldn't exactly point out what.

That's exactly it. Especially when she stands up, it's more Pom than Mantis.

“Clearly going to be a lot of fun to watch” says the “unbiased” so-called “journalist” that goes by many aliases, @JoshWilding. I can’t be the only one that thinks this looks like a Disney Channel series episode. 🤨

Side-note, did anyone ever figure out why Thor: Love and Thunder had a remix/remastered/redux version of the scene with the astral projection of Heimdall’s kid named Astrid/Axl? I swear it’s a totally different actor in those scenes. The funniest part is it’s supposed to be improved VFX… bizzaro
