Masters of the Universe: Revelation co-creator Kevin Smith has taken to Twitter to announce that the second part of the animated series will premiere on Netflix on November 23, giving fans a first look at some new key art in the process.
Part 1 concluded on a massive cliffhanger, with Skeletor finally claiming the Power Sword of Grayskull after stabbing Price Adam in the back (literally). The villain gained immense power, but even with Adam clinging for life, it doesn't look like He-Man is out of the picture - or at least, a version of He-Man!
The poster features "Skelegod" facing-off against Savage He-Man, with Teela and Evil-Lyn in the background. How this barbarian incarnation of the muscle-bound hero finds his way to Eternia remains to be seen, but it may have something to do with Adam using his dying(?) breath to call forth the power of Grayskull without the sword.
Revelation serves as a sequel to the '80s animated series, and has assembled quite a voice cast to continue the story, with Mark Hamill as Skeletor, Lena Headey as Evil-Lyn, Sarah Michelle Gellar as Teela, Alicia Silverstone as Queen Marlena, Kevin Conroy as Mer-Man, and original Skeletor voice actor Alan Oppenheimer taking on role of Moss Man.
Liam Cunningham as Man-At-Arms, Griffin Newman as Orco, Stephen Root as Cringer, Diedrich Bader as King Randor and Trap Jaw, Tiffany Smith as Andra, Henry Rollins as Tri-Klops, Susan Eisenberg as Sorceress, Jason Mewes as Stinkor, Phil LaMarr as He-Ro, Tony Todd as Scare Glow, Cree Summer as Priestess, Kevin Michael Richardson as Beast Man, and Harley Quinn Smith as Ileena round out the cast.
