John Krasinski's sophomore directorial effort, A Quiet Place, has been one of this year's biggest hits, grossing over $315 million worldwide on an extremely modest $17 million production budget. The critically-acclaimed horror film has also shown very impressive legs since its release in early April, spending the last two months in the box office Top 10.

Paramount Home Media Distribution has now announced that A Quiet Place will arrive on Digital HD on June 26 and will then debut on 4K Ultra HD, Blu-ray, and DVD on July 10.

Paramount recently confirmed plans for a sequel at CinemaCon with screenwriters Bryan Woods and Scott Beck both returning. However, it remains to be seen whether Krasinski will return to direct and/or whether Emily Blunt, Millicent Simmonds, and Noah Jupe will return to star.

It would be awesome if the scratches of the monster in the Steelbook Edition are embossed. I really hope that... can't wait to see it.

Literally just finished watching this, OK film if not a little predictable and manipulative.

Ah yes another generic horror movie. But wait! They barely talk in it, *deserves oscar* haha yeah right! I still want them as Mr and Mrs Fantastic, that could be a game changer

@bobevanz - Nah, a simple idea like that can make non generic. i feel people throw the term around a little too much.

Hell even post apocalyptic aliens makes it non gneric.

@LosingitCipher - it was really nothing special, but that's my opinion ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

@bobevanz - I don't know where that idea came from, and why people ran with it. I never saw John Krasinski as Mr. Fantastic. I want Billy Crudup as Mr. Fantastic. Krasinski should be Hal Jordan

The only, and I mean ONLY, thing I didn’t like was the all too macho last shot of the film with a character cocking a shotgun looking all badass. It didn’t belong imo.

I'll say what I've been saying since the night I saw it: A Quiet Place is a masterpiece.

I liked the premise of this film, and the performances were on point.

However the monster itself was [frick]ing stupid. Looked stupid (I feel like i've seen similar looking monsters in like 10 other horror films) Acts stupid (I'm willing to suspend my disbelief for a film but it's weird as hell for something to just stop whatever the hell it was doing to pursue ANY noise.)

I give it a 6/10. If they had just used some clever camera cuts and just not showed the badly designed monster I feel like it could have bumped up to 8/10.
