BTS Pic Of THOR's Chris Hemsworth In GHOSTBUSTERS - Looks Like He's Part Of The Team
When it was announced that the Avengers star had joined the cast of Ghostbusters it was said to be as the team's secretary. Well, that may still be the case, but if this first look at his character is anything to go by, he'll also be doing some spook hunting of his own!
Courtesy of Just Jared, we have this first glimpse of a gloriously nerdy looking Chris Hemsworth riding a motorcycle in character on the set of Paul Feig's Ghostbusters reboot. Apparently he will still be the ladies' secretary, but that is without question a Ghostbusters outfit he's wearing so it seem he'll also be taking a more active role in the actual trapping of apparitions.
[Kristen] Wiig and [Melissa] McCarthy play a pair of unheralded authors who write a book positing that ghosts are real. Flash forward a few years and Wiig lands a prestigious teaching position at Columbia U. (Like the original, the story takes place in New York City, even though it’s being shot in Boston.) Which is pretty sweet, until her book resurfaces and she is laughed out of academia. Wiig reunites with McCarthy and the other two proton pack-packing phantom wranglers, and she gets some sweet revenge when ghosts invade Manhattan and she and her team have to save the world.
Ghostbusters is set to hit cinemas July 22, 2016.
