You can visit the Dark Shadows site by clicking here. There's not that much going on there at the moment, except for a countdown clock for tomorrow's trailer and this new banner - albeit with some older images - featuring Johnny Depp, Eva Green, Michelle Pfeiffer and the rest of Burton's impressive cast..

This May, Tim Burton and Johnny Depp team up to bring us their re-imagining of the classic series DARK SHADOWS. The story of Barnabas Collins and his Collinsport companions has enthralled audiences since it first aired in the late 60s. Now, FM is celebrating the return of DARK SHADOWS with THE most complete coverage you’ll find anywhere. With new and exclusive FM interviews from the original cast members Jonathan Frid, Lara Parker, David Selby, Katherine Leigh Scott, and more, plus a conversation with new DS director, Tim Burton, issue 261 is the place for all things DARK SHADOWS. To celebrate, one of FM’s favorite cover artists—Jason Edmiston (254 Vincent Price, 255 Voldemort)—brings us his vision of “The Barnabi”, Jonathan Frid and Johnny Depp as we bridge the divide between the SHADOWS of the past and the SHADOWS of the future.

Tune in to catch the first trailer tomorrow at 10:00 a.m. EST/7:00 a.m. PST.

This makes me want to see a Burton version of The Adams Family.

Definetly not seeing this, even if someone paid for my ticket and bought me candy, popcorn, and a drink. looks like typical Burton-Depp crap

Yeah, typical Burton/Depp crap like Ed Wood, Sleepy Hollow, Ed Scissorhands, Sweeney Todd? The guys make tow mediocre movies (and I thought Willy Wonka was watchable) together and all of a sudden the knives are out

Yeah Sleepy Hollow, Edward Scissorhands where awesome, imo.

Sweeney Todd made me ill and I walked out of the movie about 7 minutes in.

If they have to remake the Crow (which they shouldn't, imo) they should use this duo.

Wasn't a fan of the original series and I'm probably going to avoid this like a tongue bath from Rosie O'Donnell.

@johan02

Don't rag Deviant Art too much. Lots of pro artists gallery their stuff there, including Jim Lee, Greg Capullo, Eric Basaldua, Ken Hunt, John Glapion, Danni Miki, Randy Green, Scott Williams, Richard Friend and many more. But there is a lot of crappy artists with stuff too.

When was Tim Burton's last original idea for a live action movie?

Big Fish? A film that was made ten years ago? In the last twenty years only three of his live action films haven't been a remake.
