There's a new horror comedy on the way from A24 and first-time director Austin Vesely, and it looks like it could be a blast.

Slice stars Deadpool 2 standout Zazie Beetz and Chance the Rapper as two survivors of an ongoing pizza delivery massacre in a spooky small town, who set out to catch the culprits. Unfortunatly for them, this leads to a conspiracy involving a ghost, a werewolf, demonic possession and a gateway to hell.

The red band trailer definitely has a nice throwback feel, which is only elevated by the presence of Stranger Things actor Joe Keery in a supporting role. Check it out below along with a poster and let us know what you think in the comments.

Damn, I miss the days when Werewolf movies were scary.

Someone needs to make Vampires and Werewolves scary again.

@Toecutter - Last actual scary vampire movie i've watched (and continue to watch) is 30 Days of Night.

I don't the last scary werewolf film i've seen at all. Besides the oldies that were only scary because I was very young.

@Toecutter - Hey at least we've moved past from the sexy Vampires and Werewolves era.

@Menks123 - True, they really aren't scary anymore. But by scary, I meant they should make these monsters a threat to human victims again. I'm tired of the teen love stories and action films where they are portrayed.

@Pantherpool - You're right. I for one prefer comedy-horror over that bullshit.

Trailer isn’t quite doing it for me, but then these kinds of films, where the overall vibe is more important than the jokes, can be tricky to advertise

Has a Zombieland feel mixed with Scouts Guide to the Zombie Apocalypse.

A little more like that latter, but seems like it could be entertaining and bizarre.

Cool to see the kid from Stranger Things getting more roles. Creed 2 and Aquaman will be the only other movies I see in a theater this year.

WOW! I never thought I'd see a film I have a personal connection to on this site. I saw a rough cut of this film a few months back, and it was pretty good.

However, I don't know how much it's changed since then.

It also stars:
Hannibal Burress
Chris Parnell
Paul Scheer

If some of you are confused as to why Chance the Rapper is in it, it's because the film is directed by his buddy Austin Vesely, who has directed a few of Chance's music videos.

These are two of the videos he's directed:
