It's going to be MUCH better than Twilight!

Oh, God, they are SO completely different from each other. One is obviously designed for teen girls and the other is an adult drama with fangs.

Wolves? True Blood's copying Twilight. ;)

Werewolves started getting mention last season, so if one wants to nit pick, True Blood beat Twilight to it. Also the book that spawns season 3 came out in 2003, while Twilight with Wolves dropped in 2006.

Winner = True Blood

The reason there are wolves is because the show loosely based on the Sookie Stackhouse books. There is no way it resembles Twilight in any fashion. I have been a fan since the first episode and I can't find nothing wrong with it. Alan Ball is an awesome producer for great shows. Can't wait for the premiere.

the people that think this is like Twilight just haven't given it a chance. This show has gratuitous nudity in every episode, great writing, and its more gory than 90% of the horror movies that come out these days.

@ CaptainProg

who cares what people think? if they won't give it a chance to see that its nothing like Twilight, then they're the ones missing out, y'know? Also, these books were around before Twilight. So it has nothing to do with them copying Twilight. :)

@ DrFever

actually, Bill mentioned Werewolves in the very first season too. He said they're "horrid beasts" or something along those lines.

and i don't think the wolves in the commercials are the werewolves. at least i hope not. I want to see the traditional, half man, half wolf, werewolves. :)

@ necrosage

thats funny. Dracula, the most popular/evil vampire of all time was all about falling in love, lol.

i agree. but i hope you're not saying Trublood is one of those stories, because its not :)

@Grif True blood is one of the best shows on TV. its a great show, just watch it and enjoy. unless your sickened by gore and blood and do not like sex and nudity or violence i totally understand.
