Yahoo has debuted the very first clip from Marc Forster's adaptation of the celebrated novel, World War Z. The clip features Brad Pitt (of course) being convinced/cajoled into helping with the impending zombie apocalypse.

The story revolves around United Nations employee Gerry Lane (Pitt), who traverses the world in a race against time to stop the Zombie pandemic that is toppling armies and governments and threatening to decimate humanity itself. Enos plays Gerry’s wife Karen Lane; Kertesz is his comrade in arms, Segen.


World War Z hits theaters June 21st, 2013.

Adaption seems to have a really broad definition. I would refer to this as a bastardization.

Still complete garbage. They shouldn't call it an adaptation of the novel. In fact, whoever posted this article shouldn't have called it that.

I didnt say anything about it as an adaptation of the book, I simply wrote that the early buzz is very positiive. The Bourne Identity was nothing like the book and I enjoyed both. I havent read WWZ but if its great, it still will be, this movie doesnt change that.
