According to Deadline, writer/actor Neil Casey (Veep, Broad City, Playing House, The League) has joined the cast of Paul Feig's Ghostbusters as the villain, though no more information is given. We do have another few behind-the-scenes pics though, feturing Melissa McCarthy in costume, and our first look at the revamped ECTO-1.

It's a carbon copy of the original. I'd be fine with that if it was a reboot with the original three characters but they're new and not related. So lazy.

I imagine we'll be seeing this for two hours straight:

Isn't there another Ghostbuster movie in the works as well? I'd rather watch the one directed by the Russo brothers, men who actually good comedy and action. Community and Captain America: The Winter Soldier

I'm guessing this won't be the final suit. Their going to be upgraded. The ecto-1 makes sense. Back in the 80s they used a car 30 years older. Now they're doing the same again with a station wagon.

I'm actually excited to see more ghostbusters, but I'm a little confused. Is this thing taking place in the 80's? At first look, that looked like a station wagon.

I will bet you 1 DOLLAR that they will use the old car (like in the picture above) but it will be a hoopdy-piece-of-crap that they "trade in" for a "suped up" (read modern shard-tastic version) by the end of the film.

It will also have constant, CONSTANT call backs to the original with at least 1-2 characters making appearances, probably as "washed up" weirdo's or something.

Ghostbusters is my favorite all time movie, I just have to get that out of the way... I honestly don't know what to make of this. The classic logo is there, the new ECTO-1 actually looks pretty cool, the designs of the proton packs are great but I can't feel any excitement for this. It's not because of the 'all girl team' thing, I don't give a shit about that, it's just that Ghostbusters is bottled lightning, it doesn't need a remake.

This movie might be good, it probably will be relatively successful, but I think if they went another direction then this movie could have been HUGE.
