Has the new Leprechaun been chosen already?

The recently announced reboot of the 90's horror series may have already found its leading man!

The New York Times recently did an interview with the President of WWe Studios, Michael Luisi. During the interview, it was alluded to that the title role in the upcoming reboot of the Leprechaun franchise would be filled by none other than WWE Dylan Postl, aka Hornswoggle.

Postl has been a part of the WWE since 2007 and has portrayed a villainous Leprechaun who lives under the ring, as well as a mute little person for comic relief during his tenure as an in-ring performer. He is still performing and will most notably be appearing at WrestleMania on April 1st.

While this has been highly suspected since the announcement, this is the first instance where any validity has been given to the rumors. Does this make sense to you? Should WWE cash in with one of their own stars or try and find a bigger, more well known name? Sound off below!

Also, WWE isn't going to stop cashing in on their talent. They been doing it ever since The Scorpion King almost 10 years ago and it's been that with all their films ever since.

@ antonio

I agree with you man! I'm stoked for Mania as well!! Expecting Punk/Jericho and Bryan/Sheamus to steal the show from Rock/Cena though!

@GhostSurfer Both could be incredible if given proper time and booked correctly. What is great about the big 4 main events is anyone of them could be the match of the night. As for what will main event and close the show, Rock/Cena would make sense, but Taker/HHH could also go one last.

And if Cena/Rock is 2nd to last, then that would mean, in my opinion, that the streak WILL end. Pains me to say that because Undertaker is my all time favorite.
