IT Honest Trailer: The Movie So Scary, It Killed The Actual Clown Industry

IT was one of 2017's best movies but that hasn't stopped the Honest Trailers team from taking aim at the Stephen King adaptation! So, hit the jump for this fun look at the overly nostalgic horror tale.

IT was nothing short of incredible and arguably the best Stephen King movie we've seen in a very long time. Despite that, it definitely had some flaws and those are highlighted in this new Honest Trailer. The team takes aim at the nostalgia overload the movie delivers and the fact that Pennywise takes on each and every one of the kids in the exact same way. Oh, and it also ended up killing the clown industry!

Despite all of that, anticipation for the planned IT sequel remains high and it definitely feels like they're desperately looking for faults in a horror movie which didn't actually have all that many of them.

The cracks about Stranger Things are definitely funny, though, and the similarities between the two properties is definitely apparent (and not only because the movie has one of the kids...with glasses!). What did you guys think about IT? As always, be sure to let us know your thoughts in the usual place.

One of my favorite movies of 2017! Great acting, great comedy! But horror? No. I'm actually a real sissy and to be honest, most of the jump scare was 1) teased in the trailers or 2) too easy. I just enjoyed the movie because of its amazing cast, story, make-up and jokes.

Loved this movie...I think Goonies would have been better if more kids would have died!
