Jman and Johnny Love Movie Review: Jennifer's Body

Yeah, saw this, and wasn't too impressed...It was "okay," as you said, Fox's performance was mediocre, and her character was very easy to hate...But as a whole, the movie was, as mentioned before, only okay.

is there a name for having those kinda thumbs

@swiftsword777- funny you should ask.... back in the day when i first met my ex girlfriend .... she came home with a book. I asked her where she had gottenit, and she said she had found it in an apartment in her building that was rented by a "Crackhead" and had been evicted from her complex.... after rifling through the apartment she filled a bag with books and some very interesting odds and ends. Turns out one of the books was an old palm readers manual.... and pretty in depth at that. one of the transfered sketches in the book revealed that said thumb is in fact known and has been known for quite some time as the "Murderers Thumb".

Nice review, and I basically see it the same way on many fronts. This movie wasn't incredible, but it is worth seeing for sure. Amanda Seyfried was very good and Megan creeped me out (she is supposed to in this movie) quite a bit. My biggest complaint is that there wasn't enough gore for an R-rating. It seems the R-rating is for the cursing and nudity.

If you don't like Megan, save your time and money, as you'll only give yourself more to bitch about. But if your indifferent or like the girl, check this movie out. I find it entertaining enough to buy on DVD/BluRay when it hits.

Oh yea, I was right, so far this is the best horror flic I've seen this year (I haven't seen Halloween 2 yet) I was super disappointed with the Friday the 13th remake and the Orphan just plain SUCKED.

Jman, bro I have to ask, are you one of those movie goers that doesn't like when a movie goes past 90 minutes? lol, cause it really wasn't that long, 98 minutes I think. Or were you instead referring to the pacing of some scenes, in which case, I agree with you that some shit in the movie dragged on needlessly or just had a 'hurry up and show us the next scene' feel.
