Joe Carnahan is going to be a very busy man indeed. It was recently announced that he had begun work on the Nemesis screenplay with his brother, and he also has several other projects in the pipeline at Fox. Well now he can add Vampire flick Undying Love to his slate. It was previously reported that Piranha director Alexandre Aja would helm an adaptation of the Image comic, but obviously that fell through. Tomm Coker and Daniel Freedman created the graphic novel and wrote the first script draft, Michael De Luca and Stephen L’Heureux and Benderspink are producing. “I really took to it, and the metric I use is how fast I come up with ideas and an outline, and this brought about a bunch of ideas,” Said Carnahan to Deadline. “It is a little out of my wheelhouse, taking place in China with mysticism and swordplay, but there is a lot of potential here.”
