Hmm.I never would have pegged him as Leon.He looks kinda like a male model(I'm pretty sure he was) and at 6'4, he's a lot bigger than I'd expected Leon to be.

I've seen him in a lot of things like Dirt, Entourage, Eastwick and 2012 and he tends to either play the pretty boy, meathead or asshole.I guess he's playing against type.

I do kinda like him as an actor, though.Hope he does a good job. Here's that Small Gods short he did a few months ago. He's Young.

Until they reboot sans Anderson/Jovobeeyatch, I'll stick to the games...

In the second movie Jill Valentine said Leon was killed. This movie has a lot of explaining to do. How do they bring people back from the dead? (Apart from being zombies)

I enjoy these movies. Cannot tell you why, but I really like em.

Would have preferred Jensen Ackles. But i guess with Supernatural, hes kinda busy. Will reserve judgement till I see final film.

@GrimFeature you know how hollywood works. They can bring ANYONE back to life. ESPECIALLY if they don't even show them die. :P

Haven't played RES much, so wouldn't call my self a fan. So I was wondering what makes this Leon Kennedy dude such huge fan favourite exactly

@ Fats and Hellsing

Leon was actually the playable character in Resident Evil 2, which was the fan favorite RE game...until Resident Evil 4 came out. That one is still the best one to date. RE5 was a HUGE disappointment compared to what RE4 did for the series. RE5 basically turned a survival horror game into a straight action shooter.

Anyway, I've always thought Leon was an overrated character. Sure he's cool and all, but to me, Chris Redfield is, and always has been the star of this series of games. :)

@ GrimFeature

I've watched the second RE movie multiple times (not sure why, its easily the worst one) and I don't recall them EVER mentioning Leon in it.

@CorndogBurglar, I don't think they actually referenced it in the movie(I could be wrong), but Screen Gems released this promotional newspaper when the film came out.It gives some backstory on Jill and mentions Leon's death.

But, because it wasn't actually in the film, it really isn't canon.
