It's been nearly five years since we last saw Selene deal death and more to Vampires & Lycans alike, but next January she's back, and she looks better than ever. Plot details are still being kept under wraps, but based on last week's trailer, it's probably a safe bet that this one will add another major chapter to the neverending war between the two monster species. However, just like in the previous films, it looks like Selene will once again be receiving a major upgrade before she faces off with her yet-to-be named foes.

Earlier this morning, franchise star Kate Beckinsale (Love & Friendship) released the first official teaser poster featuring her standing locked-and-loaded. Check it out below:

The next installment in the blockbuster franchise, UNDERWORLD: BLOOD WARS follows Vampire death dealer, Selene (Kate Beckinsale) as she fends off brutal attacks from both the Lycan clan and the Vampire faction that betrayed her. With her only allies, David (Theo James) and his father Thomas (Charles Dance), she must stop the eternal war between Lycans and Vampires, even if it means she has to make the ultimate sacrifice.
