Hot on the heels of her provocative guest turn in the CW’s Nikita, NiceGirlsTV has learned that Ksenia Solo has been cast in the highly anticipated Locke & Key pilot, currently being shot in Pittsburgh for FOX.
No official word on which character she is playing unfortunately, but word is that it will be the villain of the story, Dodge.
Solo joins Jesse McCartney as Ty Locke, Nick Stahl as Duncan Locke, Miranda Otto as Nina and Sarah Bolger as Kinsey. The show will be produced by Alex Kurtzman and Roberto Orci and the pilot ep will be directed by Mark Romanek(
Never Let Me Go, One Hour Photo). The show is based on the IDW comic series by Joe Hill. For those unfamiliar with it, here is a brief synopsis..
Locke & Key begins with a tragedy when family patriarch Rendell Locke is murdered. His widow, Nina (Miranda Otto, "Cashmere Mafia," "Lord of the Rings"), moves her three children -- 6-year-old Bode (Skylar Gaertner) and teenagers Kinsey (Sarah Bolger, "The Tudors") and Ty (Jesse McCartney, "Summerland," "Greek") -- to the Locke family mansion in Massachusetts, home to the kids' uncle (Nick Stahl, "Carnivale"). Once there, evil continues to haunt the family from across the miles and in their midst. The kids discover supernatural keys that unlock doors in Key House.
