Earlier this month
reports came out that had Lily Collins as the first cast member to join
The Evil Dead reboot. She was due to play Mia the character that was suppose to take over for Ash as the lead role. Not so fast, because according to
Variety Collins has had to drop the role due to scheduling conflicts.
No word yet on a replacement for Collins, or if it will cause any problems with the April 23, 2013 release date. As of right now there have also been no other casting news regarding the remake to the 1981 horror film, but keep a watch here at CBM for the latest details.
