It seems there's life in Locke & Key yet. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Universal has optioned Joe Hill and Gabriel Rodriguez' comic series - which tells the story of a family's battle against supernatural forces in their ancestral home - for the big screen. Fans will of course remember when the pilot for a tv series based on the comic failed to get picked up by Fox, despite garnering praise from most people who managed to see it. THR report that Alex Kurtzman, Roberto Orci and Bobby Cohen will produce via their Universal-based K/O Paper Products banner. Ted Adams, the CEO and publisher of IDW Publishing, the company behind the comic, will also produce.

Maybe if Kurtzman and Orci focused on just one project at a time we'd get to see the "talent" the two dopes keep getting hired for.

I would rather have the show. Maybe on like FX, AMC or Premium channels like HBO or showtime.
