Some more official stills from director Nikolaj Arcel's take on The Dark Tower for you here. This time we get a look at Roland "The Gunslinger" Deschain's (Idris Elba) decimated homeland of Mid-World, which the heroic Knight must traverse on his quest to hunt down the mysterious Man in Black (Matthew McConaughey).

There's also some great new snaps of Tom Taylor as Jake Chambers, one of which sees the boy entering Dutch Hill - a very dangerous portal between worlds.

Find out more over at EW.

Also starring Jackie Earle Haley, Fran Kranz, Kathryn Winnick, and Abby Lee (among others), The Dark Tower is currently set to be released on February 17th, 2017.

Looking forward to this, considering that Elba is one of the most in demand actors, he must have seen something good in the script.

Has anyone checked out his film Bastille Day?

Judging by the old black guy's costume, this must be a sequal to Underworld.
