My Ideas For The Evil Dead Crossover Movie

Here we are again! Thanks for sticking with me as I outline my ideas for the next 3 Evil Dead movies. Now, this one will require a little bit of setup. There is talk that this crossover film will be the last in the series, so that is how I approached this story. I looked at it as a finale. Because there isn't an announced title for this film, I decided to name it myself. Based on the plot and ideas for this film, I decided to title it:

Evil Dead: Curse of the Necronomicon

The tone of this film will be a little darker than Evil Dead II. It will have some humor, but it is a darker, scarier story. Think of the tone as sort of like Drag Me To Hell. That is the tone I am going for with this film.

The story begins after Fede Alvarez's Evil Dead 2. Mia is possessed by the evil force, and has escaped. She is going on a killing spree, and for some reason, the evil force does not let her go like it usually does with people. Meanwhile, Ash hears about the slaughter at the mental hospital. He learns more about the story, and is shocked to hear about the events that happened in the cabin (Evil Dead 2013.) Thinking he beat the evil force (Army of Darkness 2), Ash decides to get involved and attempt to stop it again. He travels to the hospital. It has been blocked off and locked up as a crime scene, but he manages to sneak in. There he finds the Necronomicon. As he opens it, he gets a vision of Professor Knowby. The professor and his wife are now in another dimension, where the evil force originated. The professor informs Ash that even though the portal he created is closed, the book can still be used as a portal. The only person who can close it is the Chosen One, the one who has met the evil force in physical form and defeated it. That person is Mia, and that is the reason the evil force is possessing her, it does not want her to send it back for good. Ash vows to track down Mia, and exorcise her using the passage from the Necronomicon. He is able to track her to the burned down cabin. There, he manages to exorcise her, and they form a plan. The Necronomicon is a portal that the evil force used to travel here in the first place. If Ash and Mia are able to trap the evil force in the dimension, she could close the portal and trap it there forever. They are aware that the evil force has been watching and stalking them. So Mia opens a portal, just like the one in Evil Dead II, and it begins to suck everything into the other dimension. So as she is opening it, the evil force possesses the forest and creatures in it and it begins to attack. Ash holds them off as Mia opens the portal. It begins to suck everything in, and professor Knowby appears, and drags the evil force in. He then yells for Mia to shut the portal, because once a human enters the other dimension, it cannot leave. Mia shouts the incantation, and the portal shuts. As it is closing , she chucks the Necronomicon into the portal as it closes. Professor Knowby catches it, and vows to protect it so the evil force can never be unleashed again.

Now, I know at times the writing may seem a little convoluted, but I had to put a lot of information into this one. Keep in mind, it is just a rough outline of my ideas.
